What is the difference between "LCD" and "LED" Screens? LCD screens are the standard for most laptop computers. LED screens use less power and are better for the environment. Since the connections are totally different, the screens are not interchangeable. |
What is the difference between "Glossy" and "Matte" Screens?
A glossy finish offers richer colors and deeper blacks; a matte finish is anti-glare and easier to keep clean. The matte finish is standard for most laptop screens. Only the 15" and 17" MacBook Pros offer a choice between finishes.

CTS Service uses only new screens. All screens carry a 1 year warranty against defects. Screen replacements are usually completed the same day your Mac arrives at CTS Service. All broken screens and e-waste are 100% recycled.
* Round Trip Shipping and diagnostics are free with any approved service. If you decide to decline service once your laptop arrives at CTS Service, there is a $75 decline fee. Free RAM installation is valid with any other approved repair. A $49 installation fee will apply for RAM installed without any other service. 24 hour service is the average time a laptop is at CTS Service once it arrives. Turnaround times may be longer for certain repairs or in the unlikely event that parts are not in stock.
